ANZAC day. 99 years ago the Australian and New Zealand Arm Corps landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula. Friday the 25th of April is the national day we remember not only those who fought in Gallipoli but all who have served under the the Australian flag. We think of those currently serving and pay our respects to all those families who lost their loved ones at war. ANZAC day is the day we remember lost Australians and New Zealanders, but no matter what country soldiers fight for (including the medics, code breakers and everyone else involved), they were all loved and missed by someone.
Lest we forget.
